A couple weeks ago, I got the chance to take pictures at an Indian wedding reception and it was one of the most amazing moments in my time as a photographer. It reminded me why I love taking pictures. The people were amazing, the colour combinations were just unreal, and the whole event was a wonderful celebration of a couple who proved that love can conquer long distances. The speeches during the reception just confirmed that all the love that you see in the upcoming pictures weren’t just for the pictures, it is one that was built over a period of time and distance. They are a reflection of the reason why we hope in love, it because of the wonderful, amazing thing that it is when it all works out.
